The Oregon Economic Development Association (OEDA) can be your best resource for training, best practices, connections and national recruitment opportunities.  In addition, OEDA is the only statewide group of economic development leaders advocating for legislative support for critical economic development priorities, programs and initiatives.

• The Oregon Prospector—A Site Selector’s Best Resource: On OEDA’s official website, members can post unlimited industrial sites and buildings free of charge.  This year, the Oregon Prospector website has recently been upgraded to provide a quicker, more targeted process to send in prospect proposals.  Our outreach team will be available to train you on how to use the new features.

• Access to Hundreds of Resources: OEDA connects you to over 85 economic development professionals including the State of Oregon, Community Colleges and regional partners.
• OEDA’s Professional PR Firm Contact: Over $360,000 was leveraged in the 2007 Earned Media Campaign.  This continuing effort helps get your development successes and advantages out to a national audience. The campaign has been extremely successful in raising the profile of numerous Oregon communities as a great business recruitment and expansion option.
• Executive Training: Comprehensive training programs featuring regional & national speakers will help you stay on the cutting edge of the profession. OEDA offers high caliber training programs including Spring and Summer Workshops and an annual two day conference each Fall.
• A Voice at the State Level: OEDA continues to educate legislators about economic development positions on programs, initiatives and bills that are important to our members. OEDA will develop a legislative strategy and key messages to advocate for economic development.
