Neighborhood Manager
Portland Development Commission, Portland, OR
Position Summary
The Neighborhood Manager oversees and manages complex PDC projects/programs as well as professional staff and consultants for various Commission activities promoting neighborhood revitalization and economic opportunity consistent with PDC’s Neighborhood Economic Development Strategy. This role is responsible for the conception and initiation of new projects and programs in assigned section, particularly those focused on commercial corridor development, small business development and women and minority-owned businesses. Additionally this position assists in the formation of Commission policies. Incumbents are responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with and serving as a point of contact for key outside constituents, including City Council, private sector and regional public sector partners, decision/policy makers, and private foundations.
