$10 Million investment, 250+ Jobs Created
The recruitment for Project Ring started in 2006 whe Accunture LLC first met with tribal leaders. The Economic and Community Development quickly went to work with the infrastructure installed and to construct the 40,000 sq. ft. state of the art building for what is now known as Cayuse Technologies.

In late 2010 the State of Oregon was contacted by Jefferson State Forest Products about moving their business from Northern California to Grands Pass. Different partners were lined up and the strong incentives provided the extra value to make the move.

Gresham's Enterprise Zone, approved in 2006, has proven to be an exception retention and expansion tool for existing Gresham manufacturing companies. Approved companies to do include: RR Donnelley, Boeing, Teeny Foods, Portland Specialty Baking and ON Semiconductor.

Shearer’s Foods Inc. is a North American snack food company with manufacturing facilities in Hermiston (Oregon), Bristol (Virginia) and Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada). Snack Alliance product lines include potato chips, tortilla chips, cheese snacks, corn chips, popcorn, and several other products. Snack Alliance brands include Rice Works Rice Chips, Sports Bar Snacks, Thin and Crispy, Granny Goose, Clover Club, Laura Scudder's and Terry's Classic Snacks. Snack Alliance also produces private label products and performs contract manufacturing.

The Oregon Department of Energy's Business Energy Tax Credit (BETC) which ClearEdge|Power qualified for in 2003 was integral for the company's expansion.
180 jobs created, 80,000 sf of Manufacturing/R&D Space, $14.7 Million BETC.

The Oregon Department of Energy's Business Energy Tax Credit (BETC) has targeted the renewable energy energy. the BETC was a key factor in SolarWorld's choice to locate in Oregon. $650 Million Total Investment, 1,000 jobs created, 700,000 sq of manufacturing capacity, $20 Million BETC.

TOK America
Hillsboro, Oregon

TOK America, a subsidiary of Japan based Tokyo Ohka Kogyo was one of the first companies to begin operations in Hillsboro in 1993. Located in Hillsboro's northern industrial area and within the Hillsboro Enterprise Zone (E-zone) TOK was awarded an exemption for their "Clean Solutions Building". $13 Million Expansion, 40,000 SF increase in capacity, 78 jobs.

City of Pendleton - Enterprise Zone
Kinro
Pendleton, Oregon

A building previously built for Lipert Companents was sold in 2010 to Kinro which produces cabinets and window frames for Keystone and other RV manufacturing companies. An Enterprise property tax abatement and Oregon State SRF (forgivable loan) for the update. Created 80 new jobs.

PV Powered is the largest U.S. manufacturer of grid-tied solar power inverters. An inverter is essentially the brains of a solar installation that convert DC power produced by solar modules into AC power that a home or business can utilize directly or put back onto the grid. PV Powered designs, manufactures and markets inverters for residential, commercial and utility-scale customers.

Port of Portland - New Development
FedEx Ground Distribution Hub
Portland, Oregon

FedEx Ground constructed a 441,000 square foot regional freight distribution hub on 78 acres in the Troutdale Reynolds Industrial Park. Opening in August 2010, FedEx employs 750 workers at this facility, with employment to eventually to reach 950 upon full build-out to 560,000 square feet.

Over 135 indirect jobs created with local companies serving as contractors, suppliers and vendors. Over 200 jobs retained; over $11 million in expenditures for goods and services annually.

SEDCOR - New Development
SANYO Solar of Oregon LLC
Salem, Oregon

The first phase of construction was completed early in 2010 and the first 100 employees and $40 million in capital investment were in place. Later in 2010, the second phase was completed and by early 2011 full employment of 200 new jobs was reached with a total capital investment for plant and equipment of $84 million.

SOREDI - Business Assistance
Classic Trolley
Medford, Oregon

Education and perseverance, and a complicated loan package provided the necessary funds to enable the company to immediately hire back 15 employees to build trolleys—and with new orders the company has rehired nearly all of its employees and they are presently at capacity.
