OEDA's Spring Conference 2008 took place on April 21, at Chemeketa at Eola, NW Viticulture Center in West Salem. Over 65 members and partners were in attendance. This session provided an opportunity to learn about the challenges facing Oregon's Enterprise Zones and how Economic Developers can help in making sure this valuable program is protected. Topics included research activities and options to bolster support of the Enterprise Zone program. In addition, there was discussion on messaging and performing outreach to Legislators and other interested parties. An open discussion for OEDA members and partners to become better informed to support the program both locally and statewide.
